This course is designed with the objective of enhancing the knowledge and skills of
the EMT-Basic certified students in order to facilitate advancement to EMT-Paramedic level. The course is
24 hours on consecutive weekends, from 9:00AM to 3:00PM each day (every month), excluding December. Required materials for the
class will include an ALS-EMS Field Guide and a course specific curriculum to augment lectures and skills development, both of which are included in the course fee. Students will receive 24 BLS continuing education hours for successful completion of the course.
