2 Option
The Practical Skills Review and Testing Class will review the practical skills learned by the EMT-Basic in their initial certification course. This class prepares the EMT-Basic student to take the State of California practical skills exam required for EMT-Basic Re-certification. The EMT-Basic will receive 6 hours of continuing education upon successfully passing the State of California practical skills exam. This class is held on the last weekend of the month. Class fee is $75.00. |
Option 3
The student may attend a four (4) day 24 hr. Refresher Course given on consecutive weekends. Each student will receive a refresher guidebook designed by the CIEMT and required for the refresher course. The students will be required to take a 150 question written exam and practical skills test at the end of the course to complete the County of Los Angeles EMS Agency and State of California requirements for re-certification. Course fee is $150.00 |
